Nicolas Hanson June 27, 2018 Share June 27, 2018 (edited) When I try to import an XML from Premiere into Davinci Resolve it links to the DNxHD proxy media and not the original Alexa files. How can I direct the XML to link to the correct files? Edited June 28, 2018 by Nicolas Hanson
Bruno Mansi June 28, 2018 Share June 28, 2018 Isn't it just a matter of re-linking to the desired media? Adobe have a whole help page on the subject of linking/re-linking... https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/relinking-media.html?origref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.co.uk%2F

Seth Tonk June 28, 2018 Share June 28, 2018 Import your Alexa media to resolve before the XML, then uncheck "automatically import media" when bringing in the xml. That should force Resolve to search your media bins instead of the proxies. You may have to do some selective "force conforms" here and there.
