Thomas Singh February 20, 2019 Share February 20, 2019 How do I loop a grain clip in DaVinci Resolve? I know it's possible, just can't remember how.
Seth Tonk February 20, 2019 Share February 20, 2019 Import grain to media pool as a Matte. Add layer mixer in color page. Bottom node (top layer) add matte, select the matte (grain). Disconnect matte - connect matte output (green) to input of node. Set layer mixer to Overlay. Set top node (2) node key settings as shown. Set the external matte to "loop" (on by default). 2

Marc Wielage March 13, 2019 Share March 13, 2019 You could also paste the clip on a dedicated timeline on the edit page and just repeat it over and over and over, with a fixed Composite Level and setting. There are pros and cons to either approach. Note you can also color-correct the grain to intensify it or reduce it.
