Tom Mulder February 7, 2020 Share February 7, 2020 Hi, For an upcoming project, shot on Arri Alexa, I'm looking to recreate the 'comet trail' effect that was common when using old tube camera's in the 80s or 90s. When the camera captured a bright light source something like a 'comet trail' appeared. You can find an example here (don't mind the music ;-)): Does anybody knows a way to recreate this in Baselight (or Resolve)? Thanks, Tom
Bruno Mansi February 14, 2020 Share February 14, 2020 I've seen people do this with the Trapcode Particular plugin, But this is only available for After Effects. There are some tutorials which describe how to do it (in AE) without any plugins. I suggest you have a look at these and see if the same techniques can be used in Resolve's Fusion tab.
