Freeze and composite image back on top in Fusion

I want to use a BSpline to cut out a part of the image, freeze it and track it on top of the same image. How can that be done?

The idea is to do a paint job on the image, and then composite parts of the original image back on top. The image moved so I need to freeze and track it.

Bring the footage in through an additional Loader. Set the Loader's Trim and Hold Last Frame parameters to make a freeze frame. Mask the Loader and track it on top of the footage coming through MediaIn.

Thanks! Do I need to bring it in with a loader? It´s the footage so it would make sense to simply pipe from the same MediaIn1 source?

The Loader gives you the Trim controls. Or, as mentioned, just use Timespeed.
