Thomas Singh April 22, 2017 Share April 22, 2017 I'm conforming a multi track timeline from an XML export. Every track seem to line up perfectly with all the time remapping and blending modes applied, but for some reason the scale translation data is far off. Every clip got different scaling parameters so I need to manually go into each clip and adjust it back to 1. Have you seen something similar? Dylan R. Hopkin April 29, 2017 Share April 29, 2017 (edited) Did the XML come from Adobe Premiere CC by chance? Which scaling options (scale to frame size / set to frame size) you use for oversized footage matters a lot. If I recall correctly, use 'Set to frame size'. Scale to frame size one messes up the translation data. (i.e. 4K clip inside a HD timeline) The read this: https://mixinglight.com/color-tutorial/premiere-to-davinci-resolve-image-sizing-handoff/ https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/save-time-premiere-pro-tips/ And Google: set to frame size vs scale to frame size Edited April 29, 2017 by Dylan R. Thomas Singh April 30, 2017 Author Share April 30, 2017 Hi Dylan! Thank you, I didn't know I could switch between different scaling options so that's probably it. FCP. Btw: I tumbled across your site, a lot of great work!
Dylan R. Hopkin May 1, 2017 Share May 1, 2017 Happy to help! Different scaling options can make the conform rather frustrating.
