Nicolas Hanson July 7, 2017 Share July 7, 2017 I just watched Kill Bill again and in one of the fighting scenes it switches from color to B/W with burned out and glowy whites. Do you know the reason why they did that?
Abby Bader July 17, 2017 Share July 17, 2017 (edited) Some of the movies Kill Bill refers to were shot on B/W to achieve R-rating (less blood) which ment they were approved for cinema. That could be the reason. Edited July 17, 2017 by Abby Bader
Andy Minuth July 18, 2017 Share July 18, 2017 I also think it was to achieve the R-rating. In the Japanese version of the film, the scene is in color. http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1588
