Nicolas Hanson April 26, 2018 Share April 26, 2018 (edited) I'm looking forward to dive into Fusion, but I'm on a Windows system and I've had a few crashes and find it too unstable to work with at the moment. Can't see any Windows+Fusion+Crash-notes here, but I will definitely download and see if it's usable now. dermot.shane April 26, 2018 Share April 26, 2018 (edited) i have v15 running on four w10 machines, along side 14.3, it's been stable enough to work with on all machines, not without bugs, but no stability / crashes issues, just features like burn-in gone, and on one machine copy/paste will not work in the color page... no sign of crashes going in and out of fusion, or anything else for that matter all the machines are workstation class, and have enough resources to be reasonably solid, dual xeon's, minimum of 96g ram... it might not be quite so happy on a single 6c/16g consumer machine edit, i installed v15.b2 on two machine, both of the bugs i mentioned having seen in b1 are fixed, burn-in works, copy/paste in color page works only deal i'm seeing is a crash when opening up a DCP authored in another software Edited April 26, 2018 by dermot.shane
Peter Chamberlain April 27, 2018 Share April 27, 2018 Hi guys, we really appreciate everyone thats uses our betas on real jobs. We do understand the inherent risks taken but frankly v15 is already in much better shape than our v14beta1. We have a comprehensive QA system here but nothing beats real world use with the details bug reports it can bring. With the million variations in workflow and user configs the beta testers and bug/crash log reporters will help immensely for a prompt stable release. thanks guys
