  2. Is it possible to use the ACEScc color space ver. 1.0 then output it as a TIFF file Rec 709? This means that the output will revert back to the default color space of DaVinci Resolve right? What I want to achieve is that, my output will be directly used by the VFX compositors disregarding the aces workflow. Thanks!
  3. Hello everyone. This is my first post here and maybe you can help me. Since a while I was working with Resolve for Editing my Videos. Now I have to work with different cameras and I wanted to try out ACES just for learning and understanding how this works. My If I am loading some material in my ACES Project everything is fine so far. I use a Decklink Mini Monitor 4K with an calibrated Rec709 Display. When I create a fusion Clip inside Resolve and I create a White Background (BG -> White -> Media-Out) the white is not white anmyore (for example in the color tab). ALso all the colors are changing (Like Primaries are on a different position). How do I have to work inside DaFusion in an ACES to see the right colors like in my Color Tab? Maybe you can help me! Thanks a lot! Hartmut Info: Resolve 16.1 - Nvidia GFX-Card - Newest Drivers
  4. Hello, I'm looking for some clarification, real world examples and best practice of using BLG workflow (in ACES) between BL, Flame and Nuke. Lets say if you have project shot with one camera things are pretty straight forward. Fun starts when you have timeline with Alexa mov, mxf and Arri Raw, few Red shots, little bit of Phantom Cine (that can not be loaded in Flame it seams) and few other exotic cameras and of course shots from CGI. I'm curious how other people tackle this problem. Especially from the Nuke side, since options in BLG for Flame are quite clear. What would be the best way to prep this kind of project? Thanks, Nikola

  12. Today we(ACES team) are announcing the launch of ACEScentral.com. ACEScentral is intended to serve as a single location to find information on all things ACES. This includes a new forum for discussion of topics and issues related to ACES. We invite you all to sign up for new forums at ACEScentral.com as we will be migrating the discussions and winding down the Google Group. Our hope is that ACEScentral will provide a deeper and richer information repository for end-users, developers, and product partners. For the meantime the Google Group will remain active, but we encourage you to give ACEScentral a try and to use it as your primary way to communicate with the ACES community. Thanks for your continued support.Alex (on behalf of the ACES leadership team)
